Bulls, Boots & Stigmabustin’ at Bullbustin’ 2025 in Support of CMHA Calgary

What a night, Calgary! On Wednesday, July 2, we had the absolute honour of being the featured charity at Cody Snyder’s Bullbustin’ — and thanks to your incredible support, we raised over $42,500 for CMHA Calgary! 

Each night of Bullbustin’ shines a spotlight on a different local charity, and CMHA – Calgary were proud to represent mental health in front of a packed and passionate crowd. From the first bull out of the gate to the last ticket sold, the energy was electric – and the generosity was just as bold. 

But Bullbustin’ isn’t just about the wild rides (though they were incredible). For us, the real magic happened at our booth — where people stopped by to say hi, share stories, ask questions, and learn how CMHA Calgary is here to help. Some conversations were light and casual, while others offered meaningful glimpses into people’s personal experiences. All of them reminded us why we do what we do: to create a Calgary where no one has to face mental health challenges alone. 

And let’s talk about our rockstar volunteers — they sold out every single 50/50 ticket package! Their warmth, hustle, and cowboy spirit were contagious, and they played a massive role in making the night a success. 

Every dollar raised will go directly toward CMHA Calgary’s programs, from peer support to community education – so that more Calgarians can access the care they deserve, when they need it most. 

To the Cody Snyder Bullbustin’ team: thank you for making room for mental health under the lights of the rodeo arena. And to everyone who stopped by, shared a moment, or joined in the fun – we see you, we thank you, and we hope to see you next year!
