Steven Sproule brings over two decades of expertise in Human Resources, specializing in employee wellness and benefits. A former National Team swimmer and University of South Carolina graduate, Steve served as Manager of Health and Benefits at Husky Energy for 15 years before retiring in 2020. He led the implementation of impactful mental health programs such as Mental Health First Aid, Men at Risk, and The Working Mind. Now serving on CMHA Calgary’s Board, Steve is committed to supporting early intervention and community-based mental health initiatives. His previous volunteer roles include work with Swim Alberta, the Lindsay Park Sport Society, and the Lieutenant Governor’s Circle on Mental Health. Steve lives in Calgary with his wife Leslie and enjoys staying active and spending time with their two adult daughters.

Rob Harding
Rob Harding brings extensive experience in finance, accounting, strategic planning, and operational optimization to his role on CMHA Calgary’s Board. He holds an MBA in International Business from Manchester, CPA and CMA designations, and the ICD.D designation in board governance. Rob’s professional background enables him to contribute meaningfully to CMHA Calgary’s operations, strategic initiatives, and partnerships across Canada. With lived experience supporting family members through mental health challenges, he is deeply committed to increasing awareness and access to mental health resources. Rob is particularly passionate about maximizing the impact of every dollar invested in mental health. He believes that open, informed conversations are essential to building healthier, more compassionate communities. Outside of work, Rob enjoys time with family, traveling, biohacking, and watersports such as e-foiling.

Kerilee Snatenchuk brings extensive expertise in People & Culture, with a strong focus on workplace mental health, diversity, equity, inclusion, and wellness. Her background in strategic leadership and creating psychologically safe environments informs her contributions to CMHA Calgary’s Board. Kerilee is passionate about reducing stigma, promoting evidence-based care, and ensuring mental health resources are accessible and inclusive for all. She is particularly focused on fostering safe, welcoming spaces both within CMHA Calgary and the broader communities it serves. Outside of her professional work, Kerilee enjoys travel, surfing, learning new languages, and staying active — all of which support her own well-being and personal growth.

Fraser Gordon is a Calgary-based lawyer whose career has focused on family and mental health law. His professional experience gives him a strong understanding of how unaddressed mental health issues can lead to legal and personal hardships. Fraser brings a compassionate and solution-oriented perspective to his role on CMHA Calgary’s Board. He is especially passionate about initiatives like supportive living, transitional housing, and Recovery College, which reflect his belief in practical, community-based supports. He views mental well-being as essential to quality of life and believes that everyone benefits when we care for one another. Outside of his legal and volunteer work, Fraser enjoys quiet time with loved ones, reading widely, and indulging in sketch comedy.

Terry Baustad brings over 30 years of experience as an educator in Calgary, guiding young people through the complexities of adolescence and identity. His deep understanding of youth development and mental health shapes his contributions to CMHA Calgary’s mission, especially in early intervention and community resilience. Terry is a strong advocate for programs like YouthSMART, KidSMART, and EQUIPPED, which align with his professional background. He believes resilience and community support are vital to navigating both visible and invisible challenges. As a Board member, he offers insight, energy, and a steadfast commitment to CMHA Calgary’s vision of “Mental Health for All.” Terry maintains balance through quality time with his daughters, golfing, and cooking — a meaningful connection to fond memories with his mother.

Lisa Olsen brings senior leadership experience in human resources, organizational wellness, and corporate services to CMHA Calgary’s Board. She has led initiatives that promote mental health, holistic well-being, and psychologically safe workplaces. Her people-focused approach and strong community connections inform her contributions to CMHA Calgary’s mission. Lisa has been connected to CMHA Calgary for over 15 years and is passionate about reducing stigma, encouraging early support, and using education and lived experience to foster change. She believes mental health is essential to a healthy, vibrant community and that access, awareness, and empathy are key to lasting impact. To maintain balance, Lisa enjoys walking her dog, spending time with family, supporting her children’s activities, and making space to recharge before stress takes hold.

Jeff Robinson brings over 30 years of leadership experience across Canada, Australia, and the U.S., with a focus on operations, strategic planning, marketing, and communications. He has more than 25 years of board experience in both nonprofit and commercial sectors and holds CGA, MBA, ICD.D, and Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designations. His broad expertise supports informed board discussions, effective governance, and thoughtful guidance for CMHA Calgary’s leadership team. Jeff is passionate about expanding access to mental health resources, particularly for workers in high-stress industries like construction. He is also committed to supporting individuals and families facing substance use challenges and dementia-related conditions. He believes mental health care should be as normalized and accessible as physical health care. To maintain balance, Jeff enjoys spending time with family and friends, and finds renewal through outdoor activities like camping, fishing, hunting, and golf.

Jennifer Findlay
Jennifer Findlay brings over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, specializing in Indigenous, community, and government engagement. With academic credentials in Psychology, International Indigenous Studies, and a Master’s in Community Studies, she offers a unique perspective on the intersections of mental health, culture, and community resilience. Jennifer’s board experience includes leadership roles with Miskanawah Community Services Association and the Influence Mentoring Society. Motivated by personal experiences with mental health in her family, she is passionate about CMHA Calgary’s work — particularly in peer support and post-discharge stability. Jennifer’s collaborative style and cross-sector experience help bridge opportunities between corporate, non-profit, and community partners. She believes that resilient communities are built when people have timely access to appropriate mental health care. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys long walks, boxing, and exploring new places with her husband — combining travel, movement, and great food.

Dan Toews brings more than 35 years of experience as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), with a career spanning public, private, and not-for-profit organizations. His extensive background in finance, accounting, and governance supports his contributions to CMHA Calgary’s Board and helps strengthen the organization’s oversight and long-term sustainability. Dan joined the Board to support CMHA Calgary’s important work and has been impressed by the organization’s ability to deliver a wide range of services while making the most of limited resources. He believes mental health affects everyone, whether directly or through family, friends, or colleagues, and that accessible support and strong community awareness are essential to healthy communities. Outside of his professional and volunteer commitments, Dan enjoys travelling, reading, attending live sporting events, watching movies and theatre, and golfing during the summer months.

Jimmy Underdahl brings a background in wealth management, where he works closely with families, business owners, and professionals to help them navigate their financial goals with clarity and confidence. His experience emphasizes the importance of trust, stewardship, and taking a holistic approach to well-being, all of which support his contributions to CMHA Calgary’s Board. Jimmy’s passion for mental health advocacy began after losing a close friend to suicide as a teenager, an experience that inspired his commitment to raising awareness and reducing stigma. He is particularly passionate about supporting young adults and student-athletes, drawing on his experiences as a former university football player and current coach. Jimmy believes that normalizing conversations about mental health and improving access to support are essential to building strong, resilient communities. Outside of work and volunteering, he enjoys road biking, golfing, and travelling with his wife, Kate.

TJ Zhang brings nearly 20 years of experience as a technology executive, enterprise security architect, and corporate director. His background spans strategy, risk management, governance, and technology transformation, complemented by service on numerous boards, commissions, and regulatory bodies. This experience provides valuable insight into governance, strategic planning, and organizational sustainability, supporting his contributions to CMHA Calgary’s Board. TJ is passionate about CMHA Calgary’s focus on prevention, education, and early intervention, recognizing the lasting impact that timely support can have on individuals, families, and communities. He believes mental health is foundational to a healthy and resilient community and that access to support, resources, and meaningful connections helps people thrive. Outside of work and volunteer commitments, TJ enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, hiking, mentoring students and young professionals, and contributing to community initiatives.

Lisa is passionate about reducing stigma, increasing understanding, and ensuring people have access to meaningful mental health support. She is particularly inspired by CMHA Calgary’s commitment to supporting individuals and families with empathy, dignity, and practical care, as well as programs like Women of Courage that create opportunities for healing and connection. Lisa believes mental health is fundamental to strong, healthy communities and that open conversations help encourage people to seek support earlier. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, caring for her four horses and two dogs, staying active outdoors, and supporting her children as they pursue their own passions and interests.

Mike Mousseau brings extensive experience in mental health strategy, program development, and system design through his role as Mental Health Programs & Business Development Manager at GreenShield Health. With a PhD in neuroscience and a career spanning research, consulting, and mental health service delivery, he brings an evidence-based perspective to CMHA Calgary’s Board. Mike is passionate about prevention, early intervention, and building inclusive, person-centred services that reflect the needs of the community. He believes mental health is foundational to thriving communities and that investing in accessible support today creates stronger outcomes for future generations. Mike is particularly inspired by CMHA Calgary’s role in reducing stigma, advancing awareness, and driving meaningful system-level change. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, coaching hockey, cheering from the sidelines as a proud dance dad, walking the dog, fitting in the occasional round of golf, and supporting his beloved Ottawa Senators.
