Half for Hope 50/50

Mental health resources are seeing an increase in demand with a growing need for accessible community support and programing. The Half for Hope 50/50 is a monthly raffle series that supports mental health in Calgary while giving our community the chance to win. 

When you buy a ticket, 50% of the jackpot goes to the winner, and the remaining proceeds support CMHA Calgary’s community-based mental health programs and services. 

Your ticket helps create spaces where people can find connection, support, learning, and a path forward. From peer support and recovery education to community navigation and youth programming, the funds raised through Half for Hope help CMHA Calgary continue offering free and low-barrier support for people in our community.

Back to School, Back to Support 

Funds raised through Half for Hope support CMHA Calgary programs and services. With the back to school season upon us, this months Raffle highlights the important need to support mental health among our youth.  

As students head back to school, September can bring a mix of emotions. Some might feel excitement about a new year and reconnecting with friends, but also stress, uncertainty, and anxiety. For anybody this season can present a different array of feelings.  

For young people, having a safe and supportive place to talk, learn and connect can make a meaningful difference. 
 
At CMHA Calgary our programs like EQUIPPED and YouthSMART help young people build mental health knowledge, access training tools, build a resource bank and offers connection.  

Whether you’re a young person returning to school, a parent supporting a child, or simply remembering your own school experiences, this time of year is a reminder that mental health support matters at every stage of life.
