Housing, Outreach, and Support
Our Role in Housing Support
While CMHA Calgary is not a direct provider of housing, we work closely with partners such as Alberta Health Services to connect individuals to housing resources. Our focus is on providing mental health support and linking individuals to the right programs, including housing services, so they can receive the comprehensive care they need.
The programs featured below are part of the continuum of services CMHA Calgary provides, however, these programs are only accessible through referrals from our partners.
AMH Supported Housing Program – Recovery-Focused Housing Criteria
In collaboration with AMH, CMHA Calgary supports the AMH Supported Housing program, a recovery-focused housing network for individuals with moderate to severe mental health needs. This transitional housing offers structured support, helping clients build life skills, independence, and resilience. Program eligibility includes active engagement with Recovery Alberta, readiness for treatment, and a need for supportive housing.
