Addiction Helpline The Addiction Helpline operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a weeks and is available for all Albertans. The confidential services provides support for alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and gambling and information and referral to services.
Access Mental Health Access Mental Health is a non-urgent service providing information, consultation, and referrals for individuals with addiction and/or mental health concerns. Mental health clinicians complete a clinical interview over the telephone to assess the individuals’ needs. Mental Health Clinicians are familiar with both Alberta Health Services and community-based programs and will explore all options in order to refer individuals to the most appropriate resources.
Access Addiction and Mental Health A telephone line for clients in central, northern and southern Alberta, who will benefit from guidance in finding the most appropriate mental health, addictions and/or recovery services and resources.
211 Alberta A free, confidential, multilingual and available service that is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Dialing 211 offers access to a network of community, social and government-based services. Calls are answered by professional information and referral specialists who are trained to assess caller needs and refer calls to the most appropriate resources.
811 Health Link Alberta If you have a health concern, call Health Link by dialing 811 for quick and easy advice from a registered nurse. You will have 24/7 help in more than 200 languages. They will ask questions, assess symptoms and determine the best care for you.

Woods Homes Eastside Family Centre provides counselling and therapy services for young people, couples, and families with mental health needs.
South Calgary Health Centre No-fee, single session, walk-in counselling. This is an urgent care facility for non-life threatening health issues and mental health care.

Canadian Mental Health Association – Calgary Region Our Peer Support service provides the opportunity for anyone – individual, family member, or professional – to speak with someone with lived experiences of mental health or substance use concerns. By engaging with our Peer Support Workers, you can make a connection with someone with lived experience, increase your sense of engagement and belonging, and move through your recovery journey to develop skills and build resiliency.
You can schedule a virtual or in-person appointment with a Peer Support Worker. Appointments are available on Mondays and Fridays via phone or Zoom and Tuesdays to Thursdays in-person.
Calgary Counselling Centre Calgary Counselling Centre is committed to providing compassionate, professional and affordable counselling services to Calgarians. Through counselling and group programs, the Centre helps individuals, couples, parents, families and youth resolve emotional and social programs. In-take can be done on the phone, online or through walk-in. Counselling fees are determined on a sliding fee scale. There is no waitlist. Upon completion of your intake form you will receive a call to set-up an appointment within 3 to 5 business days.

Mental Health and Sport Resource Hub The Coaching Association of Canada’s (CAC) Mental Health and Sport Resource Hub is a free, online portal of mental health resources from subject matter experts. New resources will be added regularly and will include eLearning modules, infographics, activities, research papers, videos, and workshops on various topics related to mental health. The goal is to empower and equip coaches and sport leaders with educational resources to increase their mental health literacy, both with a focus on self-care and supporting their sport participants.
