Win a prize for finishing an EQUIPPED course!

This past September, we launched EQUIPPED, a new website that offers free mental wellness training and tools for young people.

The site currently offers two courses: Mental Health Awareness and Stress Management and Healthy Coping. In addition to interactive learning modules and quizzes, the EQUIPPED platform also features downloadable workbooks that young adults can use to further explore ideas and concepts. Each course takes approximately an hour to complete.

Participants who complete a course between December 1 and 15 will be entered into a draw to win one of four prize packs, which include a $25 Amazon gift card. 

“The emerging adult years are a unique time in life that can bring increased opportunities but also increased pressures,” says Michelle Wagner, CMHA Calgary’s Director, Operations – Community Mental Health and Wellness. “EQUIPPED has been designed to provide young people with the tools they need to understand their own mental health and learn how they can support friends who may be struggling as well.”

Winners’ first names will be posted on social media and they will be contacted via their EQUIPPED registration email on December 16. Winners will not be asked to click on a link nor provide personal details. For full details, visit www.equipped.youthsmart.ca.
