The Strategy, Grants and Performance team works with our internal stakeholders to evaluate and contribute evidenced based data needed to elevate our programs and services. The team also collects and analyzes data to be captured in a wide variety of proposals, and strives to keep informed of trends in our community. They use different agency-wide measures to gain insight in how our services make an impact on the individuals we serve including recovery-oriented tools.

Our team of professionals build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our programs and services being offered are meeting the targets and performance expectations of the grants received, or those we are in partnership with. We have experts who love to get into the data and analyze it to ensure CMHA is leading edge in delivery of our services in the community.

Who YOU ARE

As a vital member of Team CMHA Calgary, you have the ability to make a real difference. The Senior Analyst, Systems and Quality role is responsible for working with the central team and across the organization to manage and use the client, program, and related systems to support evidence-based decision-making.

The role resides in the central team and works across the organization to understand requirements, and collaboratively works to provide system solutions to meet business needs, optimizing the use of technology, and streamlining business process.

 WHAT YOU BRING

  • Passion for CMHA Calgary’s mission and vision.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field; credentials with a system, business analysis and/or quality focus including successful history of effectively supporting the use of information technology to automate business processes would be an asset.
  • Five or more years of experience in a decision support environment in service organizations, including experience with client and relationship management cloud-based computer solutions.
  • Experience with the following would be considered an asset: Client (Penelope) and CRM (Civi) systems, advanced MS Suite, SQL server, SharePoint, Tableau or equivalents.
  • Strong business and systems analysis skills and abilities, coordinating work with system stakeholders, and ability to learn new tools and technology to support role.
  • Excellent analytical skills and data presentation skills; keen attention to detail and accuracy, an organized and systematic approach to work.
  • Ability to critically evaluate and synthesize relevant sources of data.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision and work collaboratively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.
  • Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Adhering to confidentiality and privacy requirements for sensitive information.
  • The ability to apply a project management approach to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge and understanding of not-for-profit and grant funding management is an asset.

Additional requirements

  • Be an exceptional communicator with strong organization and critical-thinking skills, having attention to detail when needed and having the ability to see and translate the big picture.
  • Provide effective project management as needed to achieve strategic and operational plan goals and deliverables.

Employment type

  • Permanent Full Time (35 hours per week)
